The term "cataract" refers to clouding of the lens in the eye. Modern treatment often involves replacement of the lens, which can be done as an outpatient (same day) procedure. 

Tightening of the skin and soft tissue of the eyelid is a common part of surgical eyelid repair. This can be done for functional and/or cosmetic purposes. 

When administered properly, approximately 96% of patients gain relief from bothersome spasms following treatment with Botox. In many cases, this treatment is covered by insurance.

Many drooping eyelids, a condition known as ptosis, can be lifted and repaired surgically. Dr. McConnell tailors his treatment plans to fit each individual.

Abnormal growths or tumors found on the eyelid can be benign or malignant.
